What exactly do those Asian account scammers do?

Well here is my story, last week I decided to sell my 70 rogue via markeedragon I found some one very interested in buying very quickly that agreed to pay my asking price. They sent money without talking very much at all I was unaware they would be able to recall there paypal payment so easily so I simply went ahead and gave them all the account info.

So next day I log into my email to see that there payment had been recalled this was on Friday night though so I was unable to call blizzard and get my account back so they had it for the entire weekend.

On monday I called up blizzard and had my account info changed back to mine and then log into my account. On my main there was an extra 100gold just in his bags and he was dead inside of shadowlabs and his bags were filled with health pots. He has also created 3 new alts on alt number 1 there was 3 mails with gold amounts ranging from 300 to 1000 gold, on alt number 2 there was 300 gold and about another 500gold worth of auctions that had sold, and then on account 3 was about 100 gold and about 500 gold worth of sold auctions. So in total my account had about 3000 more gold on it and this was all done over a weekend.

I really want to know what in the hell do these Asian account scammers do with your account to rack in this amount of gold?!

Well first off you don't know if they are asian. But when those people get your account, what they do is this:

Scam people for gold. So that is the risk of getting your account ban. So you might wanna watch out now

If he was dead inside Slabs, that means they were most likely chest farming. That still produces a large amount of gold per hour and a good amount of blue gems drop from the chests.

Could have also been pickpocketing if lots of health pots in bags, could also get blue gems from pockpocketing and a small chance of an epic throwing wep (forgot name).

Glad that you got your account back and even some extra money! That's kinda scary though...damn scammers!
