how to play in a hospital

well it seems that you guys are very knowledgeable, so i thought that i would ask a question. I am in and out of the hospital pretty frequently, sometimes for a week at a time!!! and i love to play WOW but my big problem is that my parents got me a nice laptop that runs WOW great but it wont connect in the hospital, so i need to find out how i can still play in the hospital on their wireless connection, it seems that the ports are blocked cause when i ran the Tracert it said unable to connect, so if you guys can help me out it would be awesome, cause it can get pretty boring in the hospital!! but i thought i would tell you to im not super computer savvy, so i need kinda in depth help if you can.

pc, and yes i do have a wireless card and i can get on the net, im not that much of a computer retard.

no you dont, its an open connection, i can get on the internet in the hospital, i can get on worldofwarcraft.com, hey im even posting this mesage in the hospital right now. i think that the port is blocked so i was wondering if there was a way to circumvent it.

well I doubt its the default stuff but go to

start
run
cmd

and type ipconfig

find the default gateway and try connecting to that in mozilla (or ie7 w/e) that should be the wifi router, find out what kind it is (it will usually say like netgear or linksys or something) then find out the default username/password for the router,

if you happen to get into the router look for the applications and gaming tab (or advanced networking or any other tab) and look for DMZ

find out your ip address (the internal one that the network gave you like 192.168.0.24 find it with ipconfig) and enter that for DMZ, what that will do is forward all ports to your computer...
