How can a lvl 70 participate in Wintergrasp ?

I have searched around in vain. How does a lvl70 participate in wintergrasp?

Proof: Achievements - Game - World of Warcraft

Its not hopping in and out method because this guy actually even managed to use vehicles. Also one cannot simply queue for wintergrasp.

Any ideas? thanks

As of March 14, 2009, "Only players level 70 or higher can count towards the tenacity tally or obtain the tenacity buff and get credit for victory or defeat. In addition, only players level 50 or higher will be able to use the portal to Wintergrasp."^[7]

I assume he just has to be in the zone when the battle is to begin based on this information. Making my way there now to test this.

You used to be able to queue through Dalaran. He earned his achievement a year ago so it might have been that too. Portal still works to get there. Next battle in 50 minutes but I assume I will be able to join.

From my personal experience(I accidentally got there during the battle on my 70 twink) you cannot. As soon as I got there I was given a warning and teleported to Dragonblight withing 5 seconds.

In Wrath there used to be a small area above the castle where you could fly in from icecrown and be technicly IN Wintergrasp, but outside the teleport zone. basicly find that spot, zip in and out like the old TB bridge 'sploit.

Back when Wintergrasp was new, there wasn't a level requirement.
