I am pretty sure the promotion requires you to have a 12 month subscription to World of Warcraft. So it wouldn't work by adding time with recruit a friend.

A: If you are trying to use the free month at the start of the contract and have not yet paid, then they would not count. However if you are already in the middle of the contract and get the reward during this time, this will contribute towards your 12 months.

But i still dont get

I talked to billing about this because I have 1 month raf on my account right now and it says my account is not eligible for the annual pass, You need to pay for 1 month on a CC then do the 12months of RAF to get it.
