Wow classic Cataclysm 5 days before it starts question.

So I have found a way to farm cataclysm items up to lvl 82. What I am wondering is are those greens super valuable right now can I get in trouble if I equip them. Can I sell them to someone and how much would this be worth; say to pvp with it on. Is this possibly a ban hammer so just keep in my bags till they activate it and be equipped with 277-289 greens and if I get blues which I am hoping soon.

You should be fine, as far as I know in the past, if Blizzard were to catch onto those item's existence they would just roll out a patch to make them unusable until you hit a certain level (lvl 82 requirement for example). So I very much doubt it could end up in a ban, but hotfix? Possibly.

My first Character on Cataclysm has like 160 iLvl and I would love to farm some of those greens for my Character to equip on release, so I can quest quicker.

As for your Question: They did ban people back in the day, so don't do anything with those Items.
Keep them, use them on release or sell them on release.
But don't tell anyone that you have stuff already.

I will keep the items to my self then till the 20th. I really don't want to let this get out and it requires a few things to do to make it possible.

Yea, just don't do stupid things.

You might not get banned in this Version of Cataclysm, but I know a lot of people that got banned for this back in original Cataclysm.
They even banned them before the release, so they couldn't play on release xD.
