World Of Warcraft Classic Alpha Client[2003]

Hello!
I finally finished packing it together and uploading it to a site.

Here is where you'll download the files:
Game Front

Password: mmowned

1. Extract the WoW folder to wherever location that you would like it.
2. Find WoWclient.exe and make a shortcut to it, and move it to a location that you would like.
3. Rightclick the shortcut and add -uptodate to the target of the shortcut.(http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/155/step3oe.jpg/)
4. Navigate to TheAbyss2 folder inside of the WoW folder and execute "Abyss2".
5. Go to the options tab and set where you'd like to spawn.(Skip Model and Packet Logging)
6. Set ip adress to localhost.
7. Press ok, and click "Start Server".
8. Minimize it to tray, and find the shortcut of WoWclient.exe with -uptodate in it, and execute it.
9. Click OK to the popup.
10. Have fun.
12. If it says, "Server not found" in wow when you click login, then go to change realm and doubleclick The Abyss Server.

There is some basic commands inside of TheAbyss2 folder for you, also, i have attached x,y,z coords for prettymuch everywhere, which can be found inside the URL in the top.

When i try to add -uptodate to the target of the shortcut it say it dossent exist and ask me to make sure that the file name is correct. Could you explain #3 more detailed please ?

Mirrors and alternate sources are always a good thing. They also set up differently, meaning they are different in one way or another.

Also that thread is four years old.

True, i got the files from there, spent 3 hours fiddeling with file formats and set it up, packed it together, upped and released it here so that it would be alot easier for people. No seriously, the .ses format was annoying.

What is wrong ?

You havent moved youre wow directory, AFTER you made youre shortcut, have you?
Else, PM me with msn or anything, and i can try remote helping you.

you need to set the qoutationmarks before your -uptodate like \WoWClient.exe" -uptodate
Even make sure u have a space between the exe" and the -uptodate.
In my case, everything is working. But i have an other problem.
Commands like !god <name> or !status are woring fine, but i cant write the worldport commands,
or speed / fly commands into chat in a way they are working.
Neither i can open the console. Need help plz plz

How i use speed/fly/port commands? The console don't work for me in the button next to number 1. :_(
