I was exploring in AV today, managed to get "out of" AV.

I've played WoW Since it fist came out.
I miss the old school PVP system but anyways,

While I was exploring I noticed something strange, and I wanted to check it out
I was in Wildpaw Ridge:

As far as I remembered, I could not recognized it with patch:
World of Warcraft Client Patch 1.8.0

• A great avalanche has closed off both the eastern and western segments of Alterac Valley. This has displaced the Syndicate, the Wildpaw Gnolls, and many of the Winterax Trolls.

Found it interesting to explorer a little more:

Wildpaw Ridge is a Wildpaw Gnoll camp located in the mountains to the east of Field of Strife. Due to an avalanche, their camp is blocked off from the rest of Alterac Valley. (see Patch 1.8 (Release Notes))
In addition to the gnolls, Syndicate Master Ryson, a Syndicate agent, is hiding in this area as well. He would pledge his forces to help those who recover [All Seeing Eye]ℜ ω τ α from the Winterax troll for him.

This eye, was probably for a quest. Anyone remember anything about it?
I'd like as much info about this place as possible, oldschoolers
