[Guide] rule for post 2.4 "jumping", IF gate

As we all know, 2.4 changed how walljumping works, you no longer stick to the walls as much, and tend to slide off.

In order to stick to a wall in 2.4, you have to ask yourself two questions. "Can I stand or walk in that spot normally?" and "Can I land on it?". If the answer to both are "yes", then you will be able to stick to the wall.

Using this method, I found a new (not really?) path to the IF mountains.

    Start here.

Run (no jumping here) to this spot.

Run to the base of the side of the mountain, and try to determine which spots are safe. Take these 4 jumps.

    Mount up and run.

And you're at a familiar sight.

Or if your a mage or have noggenfoggers. you can get there very easily without wall jumping.
Go to the graveyard right outside IF (as soon as you get out the gates just head right up the hill)
    Pop Noggenfogger/Slowfall
Mount up and jump so that your hugging the mountain wall
    Then poof your there
Ill +rep cause I like the effort in your exploration. Nice Find

So, what you're saying is, if it's possible to walk on it then you can walk on it?

Pretty much. Wall jumping isn't really any good anymore. It's just jumping.

Not working for me. I keep falling on the third part (run without jump).

    I assume it's just me, so anyway… +Rep

The jump isn't as easy as it seems (or I just fail), it took me about 30 minutes of trial and error before I could find the "sweet spots".
