On top of BS

i searched and found nothing similar, so here it goes. I recently took up engineering and have found it to be quite the exploration profession. I made myself a pair of the rocket boots extreme and have done many things most players that are not engineers will never be able to do. My exploration is going to the roof of the black smith in Arathi Basin. as a MM hunter it is a great place to snipe ally and its hilarious because the boots launch you so fast that they almost never notice you until you start shooting.

what you will need:

3 things are needed
1. engineering rocket boots extreme (yes u must be an engineer 325+)
2. either the Skettis slow fall cape, or engineered parachute cape.
3.(aspect of the cheetah, or cats swiftness potion (if u want to be able to land on the chimney)

how to:

1. go to the lumber mill and line yourself directly facing the chimney of black smith

2. use your swiftness pot or turn aspect of the cheetah on.

3. engage rocket boots with enough room to get some speed.

4. as soon as u hit the edge of the cliff (from lumber mill facing BS) jump and activate your skettis slow fall cape (or engineering parachute cape).

5. if your able to get a good jump off as well as being pointed in the right direction you will land right on the chimney of BS!

conclusion:

i decided to put this in the exploration because that is essentially what it is. However it is a great spot to dps/dot/mana burn ally from if they have bs captured(horde ftw). Ive gotten some pretty hilarious reactions and it usually takes a few second before they figure out where their being attacked from. it is however even more greater for hunters because if they do target you and start dpsing you can feign death and get LOS from the walls of the chimney, making it impossible for them to attack you and even more impossible for them to re-target, they will have to /target "your name" in order to target you while ur LOS'd by the chimney walls. I have done this successfully many times, i hope you can all get it landing on the chimney down because if your on the roof youll be toast real quick because there is no LOS abilities there =/

took these pictures this morning ^^ chimney every time now wooot. 2 players tried to assult bs and i dropped them and then they came back with their friends and basically surrounded the bs hahaha trying to get revenge on me..blooop feign death ftw eeerr that hunter is still up there xD

Nice find, you could also just walljump the back of the house. I get up there that way but your way is much cooler, faster, and awsome...er.

Incorrect. Players detect it as speed hacking, and the GMs that they petition happen to be sorry excuses that don't check the data files to realize that the player used boots.

Rocket Boots+Parachute Cloak is considered clever use of game mechanics, and reducing the cooldown of the Cloak furthered the concept that the Blizzard development team wanted the combination to be used MORE.

thers a far easier way than that, you just wall climb up the side of BS ... iv done it many times lol takes like 30 seconds

You can also do this in Hyjal Summit as it has the same building.
