I have a feeling he's a reference to the Forest Spirit of the Ghibli film Princess Monoke (though the Forest Spirit is reference to various other folklore), but I could be completely wrong. Unless he's attackable by Horde I don't think he's tameable

I tried taming a bunch of mobs in invasions, as a hunter, I wasn't able to get anything cool. Let me know if you come by something I missed.
