The Exploration Handbook - The 7.0 Edition:
**THIS DOCUMENT IS NO LONGER BE MAINTAINED ON OWNEDCORE**
A new link for the The Explorer's Handbook will be posted shortly.
Greetings all!
I'd like to proudly present the first release of a little project of mine, inspired by the works of
WizardTrokair's Original Tutorial ([Project] Exploration Tutorial for WoW) and
Strangetusk's Explorer Map (RIP Strangletusk (He's not actually dead)):
The Explorer's Handbook - 7.1.5 Edition
Right now, you're mostly reading this, wishing I'd hurry up and inform of you of what it actually is; The Explorers Handbook, as it's name suggests, is a 29 page Handbook, consisting of exactly 5344 words, 23 images, and a contents spanning a whole 3 pages. This Handbook is intended to be a "go-to" resource for both new and existing explorers who are looking for a new toy/item/tool, other resources, or just information that they can use to assist in their explorations. I won't write too much about it here as I encourage you all to go give a brief read.
C O N T E N T S
The Handbook covers the following topics:
The Dos and Dont's of Exploration
Explorative Items
Explorative Mounts
Explorative Class Abilities
Exploration Methods & Tips
Macros
Resources
As this is the first release of this large-scale document, I have definitely missed a lot of things out, and therefore I absolutely asking you explorers to provide to constructive critisism and suggestions on how to better the document.
(Handbook is more useful if you download it; interactable contents page ect)

A great handbook for every explorer out there, now I will have an easier time to check if I forgot some method or item while exploring. Can't thank you enough by taking your time and creating this.

Good stuff, a few things here I didn't know about.
Btw There were some pretty amazing exploits that came out of the TOJS glitch, but I'll keep those to myself in case any one finds another.

>A prime example of this is when a Reznik found
when a certain Reznik* or when a certain someone named Reznik*
Only minor, minor typo I found.
Gosh though, this is amazing. I legitimately want to print this out and laminate it. Reading it gave me a warm, fluffy feeling inside. <3 Y'all rock!

You could but I can imagine theres going to be a lot of updates in the next coming months
Edit: For example, just added another exploration method, a screenshot, and rewrote various bits :P

So it'll be full of scribbles, highlighted portions and annotations. It'll feel all the more alive in my hands. You and Dovah legitimately have done a great deal to re-inspire me.
EDIT: Also, even though it is a smigeon outdated at this point, I think including Strangletusk's Explorer's Map ([Project/Guide] The Explorer's Map: A Customised Map for Explorers) would definitely be fitting, at least as a footnote reference or something, even if you can't go under terrain anymore without disconnecting. Maybe mention the difference of environment outside instances (Old Deadwind Pass, etc). Just tossin' out ideas, of course. ^^

OH YEAH, whatever happened to him? Gosh, my memory really is failing me. ;_;
But yeah man, of course you'd inspire me. The lot of you do, especially getting online to see y'all still kicking around and me having to start over from scratch because its been so long. I want to be able to provide quality content like your guide right here! <3
