well this is kinda stupid but, lol. and forgive me if it has been posted before. :yuck:

Okay well i was up and about in Azshara looking for some cool stuff and came across this. Kinda looks like a Gryphon take off spot or something. Kinda useless but meh its neat.

Hehe add Dll_Injection said. It's part of a Q where you get some runes from the ruins with the naga in it, then go to the flightpath and fire up a flare to signal some dwarf to come pick up the runes.

The quest is Arcane Runes - Quests - World of Warcraft

Yeah, it's a quest object. ;D You gather some diamonds of some nagas (or something), then you go there and use a flare item. Then a small airplane comes, lands and you turn in the quest to him. Then he flies away. :P

its a quest around level 50, you get it from a dude in the mystic ward of IF, he sends you to get a flare gun from a pilot in the military ward, and then you make rubbings of some runes in the elf cities, and then send up a flare and a the pilot comes and collects the rubbings.

Yep, for a quest. People who haven't seen this, probably levelled up post-BC (or horde-only) :P
