If you're looking to get higher in Molten Front... remember that you can always use the old "jump into lava and grow through the floor" method to get VERY high up. The higher up you start, the higher you'll be able to get with that feather you've got there.

The Firelands raid is locate directly south of molten front. Although it's the not the same 'Firelands', it's the version where you hop on the flying bird and kill all the adds. If you manage to get there though you'll find some custom npc's next to entrance to Beth'talac's lair

The friendly NPC's seem to be different dependent on faction. The horde version has Johnny Awesome whom you may recognize from the undead starter zone quest chain.

The molten front zone is subtly different from Firelands in a number of ways and seems to have been from an earlier stage of development. The red NPC's are mostly attackable but do not aggro otherwise. They drop nothing. One of the NPC firelords is unkillable ("singe"-something).

If you fall off the wrong side you rez in westfall.

Btw If you try trokair's method be aware it doesn't work on older computers. I tried it for ages on my old pc without joy. When I upgraded it worked first time.
