I posted the images to advise people that these glitches were still possible.
(and by the amount of +rep I got for posting those pics, I'd imagine the sentiment was appreciated)

With all due respect, if you want to be spoon-fed advanced glitching methods, you're in the wrong place.

There is a legit way to get to Gilneas regardless, assuming it worked in Cata and MoP, WoD or the new xpac it makes no difference.
We are working up a video soon right now to post how to get to Gilneas again. For Kezan/Lost Isle that is gonna be tricky, we never tried going there on retail.

It can't be hotfixed, getting there is basically tricking the game on where to put you next. Such as the default being Westfall or The Barrens, nearby Crossroads.
This as open since Cataclysm PTR, but means of escaping early had been fixed by accident, the bizarre way of leaving Gilneas. But anyone other than a Worgen, might get bugged, going there there isn't much to do since you will be in either phase 0 or phase 1, sometimes both. The only interact you have is fresh Worgen players and a few NPCs.

Blizzard can't fix a default within their game, so it is safe to say it won't be fixed, ever.

It definitely can be hotfixed. The thing about the westfall and barrens is that its accessible to all players. Thats VERY different from players getting into a worgen only zone which has worgen only quest rewards such as the top hat.

Without disclosing too much detail, considering the fixed the exact same method, but for other zones, they can.
