Inside unused areas of "Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj"

Goblin Glider Exploration in Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj

    Required items:
    Goblin Glider

    Scale
    Hard
    Medium
    Easy

In my opinion, in this exploration is medium.

    Directions:

Step 1: Go to the raid "Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj"
Step 2: Go into the area "Watchers Terrace" and go to the stairs on the bottom right on the map
Step 3: There should be a small rock to the left when going down the stairs... Get on top of it and use your Goblin Glider
Step 4: When on the rock above, go behind you onto the sand and go to the highest point available near the invisible wall
Step 5: Use your Goblin Glider while on a mount and run and jump then use the Goblin Glider
Step 6: Jump on the rock above you... Be careful not to fall off
Step 7: From that top rock, mount up and run and jump again and use Goblin Glider. From there you should be near a floating crystal
Step 8: If you are standing directly at the floating crystal, go left. There should be a ledge. Either run & jump with your mount and take the risk of falling and having to restart, or wait and use your Goblin Glider
Step 9: From there, there will be a small gap inbetween the wall your on and then a purple pillar and a wall to the left of you. Jump from where you are onto that ledge with a mount and run & jump
Step 10: From there you are inside of an unused area of Ahn'Qiraj. There may be a way from there to get outside even more, but that is all I have explored so far

Pictures will include all steps needed to do this exploration. Some might say this is a useless exploration but remember as I said, this could lead to getting out even further of the map.

    Yours truly,
    Cheengle.

Ah AQ... a wicked exploration! Thanks for sharing these written instructions.
And no such thing as "useless" exploration.... exploration is always its own reward. The journey is half the point!
Your images are good, gives people yet another way to escape. +4 rep for sharing.

A helpful video (showing the empty areas and a few other points to climb and escape) was shown in this thread by Ziozi:

Thank you for sharing that video with me. As I had watched through it, I noticed a few things were patched in that.

What sort of things? As far as I know, everything in that video still works just fine.

Well, unless you used a lag macro, there are parts where you'd have to use a mount and jump in a small space. But, it was patched and you cannot do that anymore.

To clarify what Cashrock says above... simply use the mount and DC at the end of the mount cast bar. You will log back in and be on your mount, allowing you to jump through the spots in question. So Ziozi's video / methods still work.
But thanks for your images... shows another good spot to escape!
