Blackwing Lair - Old Burning Steppes

Hello there, have not posted in Exploration in quite some time! I do apologise if this is a repost, I did some searching and I found Trokairs video but his method no longer works and he only briefly touched on instanced Burning Steppes.

Requires Slowfall and Giant Growth pots.

Start off in Nefarians room, go into the little room that spawns adds closest to Chromaggus.


Get into the following position so your head is hitting the roof, Drink a giant growth pot and dc/log out then log back in.


Once you get back in, jump up onto the small ledge. You will need to jump off it and slowfall south-south-east, it is easy to land back in the instance if you fly the wrong way.


You are now in old Burning Steepes, Enjoy! There is also a small chunk of Elwynn accessible. Heres some random screenshots of things I found interesting while exploring.

Nice find, haven't seen this before myself! I'll be trying it out, seeing what I can find
