[Hidden] Darkmoon Faire Cave

Keeping the sense of basic exploration alive I wanted to share a simple new area that all can explore. At the new Darkmoon Faire Island there is a hidden cave tucked away under a shipwreck off the cost. Currently there are no creatures or NPC's to be found but with possible future changes to the DMF this could change as well. Perhaps even a new rare spawn we haven't seen yet.

And the bonus. Several of the rock formations inside the cave have these face-like features.

Yeah, i discovered that too on the PTR and checked it on live server to see if it has any link with quests from the DMF but the answer is no.
It serves no purpose, it isn't printed on the map and it is at the extreme border of the explorable sea (if you go further you'll get the fatigue bar).

I didn't bother posting it here since i wasn't able to find something useful on it but the idea of a rare spawn there in the future is quite a good idea.

I tryed to mount through wall there to get under the Darkmoon island but i didn't succeed. Might not be able to do this underwater

Yeah, I found this too after seeing a model of the island posted on a mmo-champion thread back in the ptr - weird that the cave is there though, seeing as if you go much further you hit fatigue...

Good spot for getting underneath the world using mount-through-walls-by-dc at the cave entrace 'ceiling' - only found little bits of submerged shipwreck models so far though

Yeah I couldn't find anything of interest under the world either, though I hadn't seen disassembled pieces of ships like the ones in the northwest corner of map before. (I was hoping for whole boats like in the Worgen starting zone!)

Yeah, a bit annoying - I too was hoping for at least one nice and complete boat like the one half-submerged in Menethil Harbour. Ah well - it's early days yet, bound to be some things out there under the island!

It's heartwarming when Blizzard adds this sort of bit, simply knowing that at least SOMEONE's going to go out of there way to find it. I really think they've come to be more appreciative of the exploring community. Good job on this bit - glad you were able to share it with us. Hopefully something will be added, as you mentioned.
