Oh my god, I have tried for hours and hours to find a way onto that ledge you rocket booted to. In the end I went the other way around and got up to that point from the entrance to the shimmering flats! +rep

May I ask what program you use for the camera flight? It looks like you use a machinima tool or something as the render distance and everything is at maximum. Thanks in advance!

Agreed.... I've tried for hours to make the double-jump onto that ledge (that I've seen Leonim aka SaltShaman make previously, btw) and I've never been able to pull it off. Same with the rocket-jump at the entrance to the shimmering flats. Same with the jump near the back that I've seen VotU-US and others do. Just never been able to get up there (I'm not the best wall jumper)... So glad to see another method I can try! +3rep for sharing this video.

I can record a video for you to get up there via the shimmering flats if you want.

Kal... that spot over by the blue wall where you can go from instanced Tanaris into instanced Shimmering Flats... I assume that you're just catching the higher ledge at the blue wall and then rocket-booting over? If so, no video needed... I just haven't been successful catching that higher ledge to make the jump from. If that's not what you're doing, just an explanation would probably be sufficient.

Yuna, sorry for the thread hijack! Back to the video... great spot to rocket-boot over to that ledge... looking forward to trying it myself!

I just went and tried this and it worked like a charm! That hill you climb is the perfect vantage point to just rocket right over to that ledge. I'll probably throw you a couple more +rep when I can for this... it was damn satisfying to finally get up there.
