I have Cartographer, never noticed the darkened areas on places I haven't explored like that though.

LOL, its the ghetto daycare. Cmon we all have one in our neighborhoods that we cant believe people leave their kids at! This is the wow version. Note the cages behind the building and the explosives in the sandbox =P It was nice to see some tauren kids tho, they're soooo cute!
