Control FP Method
A great use of the Control FP glitch! +3 rep for sharing this video with us.
I spent most of this weekend climbing up these very same mountains on foot. It is almost frustrating to watch you just sail up the sides of them without gravity being an issue! I can hardly complain though, as I was using Dellion's Gravity Well glitch to deal with the issue myself. Good to see the top view of some of those hills though... gives me an alternate view to try to plan my next trip out there! Great stuff.
Crazy
So with the control fp method you don't die from falling and you don't die when you go below the deathline ?
And what about the zeppelin ? Did you try to reach it ?
+rep for you, why did i decide to quit WoW now ... :'(
Great exploration! Goodjob!
Just wondering what this gravity-well glitch you're talking about is Trokair? If you'd be willing to share!![]()
It was discovered by Dellion. The Gravity Well pushes you up, but will occasionally give you a debuff that stops you from going any further. Dellion discovered that you can disconnect to remove the debuff, therefore allowing you to climb higher. He also discovered that the Well works near the entrance portal of Grim Batol, allowing you to climb up and out. It honestly was and still is one of the best explorations that I have ever seen on OwnedCore or anywhere else:

I have since gone back and found that the Well continues to work once you're outside of the instance and at the mountains across the 'death line' valley. If you go further away it stops working again, but there is a definite section of the mountains across from the instance entrance where it still works.
Ahh awesome! Very clever indeed! Thanks for the reply Trokair +rep for explaining
Edit: Have to spread rep first![]()
Once you dc on the fp, server side the game registers you at that exact location, while client side you are out exploring. So when you go past the death line you don't die because the game still thinks you are where you dc'd. Same for breath, fatigue, no man's land, etc. Also I didn't see a zepplin while exploring, is there one out there somewhere?
