Cave in Un'Goro

This isn't by any means a hidden place, but it is a place that many people have never seen before, including myself.

There are also mobs in there that drop Guardian Stone

This is the only drop location in the entire game!

I played since ending of BC, never went into this cave, didn't even know it existed while I had quested many times in Un'goro.

Since it is insanely easy to level in Cataclysm I think that a lot of new players will miss this and skip the zone and quests etc. It is very pretty and I have fade memory's but I'm glad you posted it. +5 rep

Well you might have missed it multiples times then because it was indeed a cave you would usually go into when questing in un'goro (alliance side). Iirc there was a quest where you would gather the crystals, i should check my screenshots.

And it's even printed on the map, i'm happy for you that you discovered this cave now but it's really not new to 90% of the people

While this is an extremely pretty cave, I am unfortunately going to agree with jjshadoe and NanaCry on this one. I remember quite fondly the quest to collect these crystals in this cave. Not only is the cave part of the main Un'Goro quest hub for Alliance... but the entrance to the cave is right next to the Alliance flight point. For Alliance, it is a difficult cave to miss.

It is insanely easy to level in Cataclysm, and newer players (and old) do miss quests like this.... but personally, I think this forum has jumped the shark if we start "exploring" caves that are part of established quest lines, just because some people may have missed them.

Okay, so I typed all that.... then remembered that just last night I was rather enjoying this older video of Reznik's: Secret Room in WG Patch 3.2.2 - YouTube
Even though that room is also wide open (not closed off at all), I had missed it. Apparently this room was even the original spawning point into WG, but I had missed it, so I appreciated that Reznik made a quick video of the spot. Had he posted it here on OwnedCore, I probably would have even threw him some rep for sharing.

So that being said, I'm going to play devil's advocate against myself and give the OP +2 rep for sharing his discovery with our community. Thanks for posting the screen shots, xcrossover25x, and we look forward to your next discovery hopefully being something a bit more off the beaten path.

This is rather weird, I don't know how I had missed it, I quested in Un'goro on all my characters before cata and never went into that cave, despite doing 20+ quests there.

On the subject of things we've never noticed before, I just realized the other day that there's a weird entrance on the front of the WoTLK zeppelin that makes a cylindrical tunnel through almost to the back of the balloon. I always assumed the entrance was just a flat surface with a decorative ring around it.

Yeah I did it ages on my first toon and kind of remember it, but with new alts I have made I never came back across it so I think people who started playing wotlk and Cata would probably missed it and I'm sure some people are going to check this out

Btw, just outside the cave, i think to the right if ur facing the entrance to the cave, with a bit of tricky walljumping you can get up to the place where there is a teleport leading to sholazar basin in northrend, i remember it was like 2 jumps, but it took me 10 mins, unfortunately i died up there since there is guards(not high level i think) they attacked me as soon as i came up
