    [Engineer+Archaeologist] Exploring high places indoors

Continuation of http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...ng-midair.html, credit original post for half the exploit

Hey folks. Ever seen something above you in a building, be it a ledge or second floor, which you would just love to get up to, but alas, cannot, due to the flying mount restriction inside buildings? Problem solved.

Gnomish Gravity Well - Item - World of Warcraft is an item which propels the user up about 5 yards. It has no cooldown, but has a chance to trigger a 15 second cooldown, which means while spammable, it will occasionally fail. It is usable anywhere outside of instances and BG's/arena's. However, whilst in the air due to this trinket, the user cannot move horizontally, so by itself, it is essentially useless.

Headdress of the First Shaman - Item - World of Warcraft is an item which allows the user to see a remote location for one minute, also allowing them to switch between the two. Whilst used, the player is entirely stationary, and thus, stops falling. (See the post above).

Combining these two items comes with a side effect. Firstly, you can stop the falling of the gravity well when you are affected by the debuff by using the helmet. This allows the debuff to fade and, once the duration of the buff of the helm wears out, continue climbing. ((Note: Using the gravity well whilst still affected by the debuff will result in a disconnect when the helmet buff expires. Time your climbs carefully))

Secondly, at the moment the first shaman headpiece buff expires. the player can move in any direction momentarily before falling. The resulting movement is about that of dismounting whilst flying on a mount, in terms of distance / drop. Slowfall can also be used to slow the descent.

The result is unlimited potential height gain whilst inside non flying environments, and when at the peak of the movement, you can move in any direction you want, be it to hop onto a ledge, or over a wall. The more apt amongst you can even do multiple ascent / descents at once, getting a little distance each time. (No video, unfortunately. If someone wants to make one, itdd be appreciated.)

Note, some places, such as jadefangs cave, seem to disallow the use of the gravity well.

Instead of the headdress, goblin racial works as well.
