[4.1 PTR] Amani Dragonhawk, Nighsaber Cub and Fools Gold for free!

hi guys
I thought i'd show you a short guide I uploaded to YouTube showing you guys how to obtain some of the new TCG items for free (with the potential of alot of gold) the items showcased are -

- Amani Dragonhawk - Item - World of Warcraft (Amani Dragonhawk)
- Nightsaber Cub - Item - World of Warcraft (Nightsaber Cub) Not soulbound so can be sold on AH
- Fool's Gold - Item - World of Warcraft (Fool's Gold)

Im pretty sure that you can walk straight through it like every other tcg.

you dont. so far only the dragonhawk and nightsaber were free for me.

this deserves no rep. if you log on the ptr. almost anyone can answer you and it will be fixed before the patch like they did for every tcg item they let you get on ptr. (you used to have to enter 1111 in the code for say the first item in the list 2222 for the second etc.)

This is an exploit (and should probably be moved there). It is not currently intended to work, but it does, and it gives you an advantage over other players. Perhaps you used to enter 1111/2222/whatever to get these items on the PTR, but currently you can't get any of them that way. Retrac discovered that you can get a few particular ones just by clicking for them. This is interesting. This has not been posted on MMOwned before, and could make some people a significant amount of gold on the PTR, so it would indeed be rep worthy.

Perhaps with 72 posts, and no rep yourself, you should be looking for things to contribute, rather than bashing others that do.

Not intending to flame here, but gold on ptr isn't really useful? Might be fun to have a lot of gold but it's all gone in a few weeks at most anyways.

If that were true, Blizzard would just give everyone unlimited gold on the PTR.

Any advantage over another player is an exploit, whether it is for five months, five days, or five seconds. Some will find this useful...and per the very nature of exploits, it could lead others to discover further exploits that work on a larger scale.

You dont get to keep the gold as in transferred to live realms when the patch goes live. So having a million gold on the PTR is useless. Blizz will most likely have the promotion code thing fixed before the patch hits live realms, which again makes this useless. Now if you were to get the gold and promotion stuff transferred from PTR to live THEN it would be very usefull. But you dont.

I didn't realize PTR tricks were considered useless on MMowned.

They really should add that to the rules section, if that is the case. It may have prevented Retrac from wasting your time.


(When I'm on the PTR, I'm often trying to get money for something, so I personally find this exploit to be useful. +rep from me)
