Explorers League - Old World

Hello MMowned,I will be releasing a new series of videos. The series of videos will be me escaping instances, and exploring the old world map (the way it was before the shattering). This way we can always go back to the old world, wether theres mobs or not, we got the map aspects in our hands, to enjoy and for memories!

I will hopefully be releasing a new video every week of this, until I get to the point of which there are no more instances to do it with.

I am going to keep all the videos within one post, (Dont want to spam MMOwned Exploration thread).

When I made my "Empty Space Series", I had actually intended my next series to be along these lines..."instanced versions" of zones like Felwood, Silverpine Forest, Barrens, etc.... reached via busting out of an instance. This was, of course, before the shattering... so I hadn't realized the whole "old world / pre-shattering" angle and appeal of this sort of exploration...

...I'll still be doing this series, and posting it up here on MMOwned once I've begun. It will be interesting to note some of the differences in the methods / spots we choose! Of course, your videos usually focus more on the method, whereas mine usually focus more on the exploration... so it will be a different product, for sure.

I've always respected you Omo, and the VotU crew. If I wasn't such a one-toon guy (Alliance), I'd probably have taken up with you, Snyth and the rest a long time ago!


*edit: Question on the first video...I haven't done the RFK/Barrens one since before The Shattering... I used to do it up the same thorny branch, but I don't remember needing Giant Growth elixirs previously, or having to jump past that hole in the world... is the need for Giant Growth and the slowfall-mount jump over the hole something new that happened after Cataclysm?

Yes when the shattering happened, they added a bunch of invisible walls in RFK

I love the idea. Heres one tip and I'm sure lots of people will agree. Put in info what songs you used. I bet lot of people would like to know cus your using really nice songs.)
