I have spent a stupid amount of time recently editing video... so I feel for Mr. Zhao!

PS - Will the release of the video coincide with the release of some files, etc, in order to get others into these places?

At this point I'm almost as interested in the build number. This past week I tracked down and checked what I had thought was everything from alpha through 4.0.3 PTR. One build had a bunch of .wlw files, but that's about it.

I'm not an expert with model editing/model swapping and other MPQ related stuff (and i'll gladly take some advices) but i'm pretty sure these are the files we are all searching.

I really dislike the "let's keep this stuff for ourselves, we're selfish and we like that" thing around this exploration. We're here to share, not to boast. The exploration community won't never grow if we don't share everything we have to everybody. And i sure hope we all want this community to grow.

I might be wrong, but i'll upload the files in order for you (or you can also teach me how to) to test them.

I might have extracted them badly so here's how i did : Get the ptr client installer. Do not run the update. Open World of Warcraft Public Test/Data/OldWorld.MPQ . They should be under OldWorld.MPQ/World/maps/development_nonweighted (ptr client version : 4.0.1.12824)

Edit 3 :
In fact, you might have to download the update because otherwise the MPQs don't seem to be "full" (missing things). I'll update this post as soon as i've finished the 10GB download.

Yep, bad news, after the end of the download, OldWorld.MPQ is gone.
I really don't think that these adts are in every client build but anyway there seems to be no way of getting them without errors.
Bah, too bad, i guess we'll still have to wait 'til next monday. (but let me say it again, you're actually doing something bad for the community by keeping them for yourself (atleast until you release them).)
