Blocked entrance to karazhan

I'm sure this was found before and if its been posted I apologize for the repost.

Just curious if anyone had found this and/or has any information related to it.

It's on the top of the outside of karazhan. It's opposite of the balcony you can reach from under the princes area. There is a blocked instance portal here and it would seemingly lead into Medivh's chambers. There are a pair of gryphons at the top as well.

It is a repost, my friend. The Gryphon roost has been up there ever since Karazhan has.

The Karazhan gryphon roost is leftover from the planning phase of Karazhan. Before the teleport to Aran's room was implemented, the original plan was to have a flightpath that connected to the top of Karazhan for the convenience of groups who had already cleared most of the instance. There is currently no way to access the ledge with the roost, nor does its instance portal function.

Then a moderator can feel free to delete this post if they want =b I figured it had been there since kara released but I had no way of seeing it without a flying mount =b

I finally found a way to the portal, used the hole in the side of the tower halfway up to get to a spot where i can mount through the wall (top portion of open tower). if you carefully fly up and hit the portal from the side you can be on the portal side of the gate...inactive portal and you have to hearth out as you get stuck there between the gate and a invis wall.

I did exactly what tdurden said about a week ago. I liked it up there, just be careful not to go down from the gate area, only go up above it because when you go down, the stairs are not solid objects. only the staircase going up is (Even though it's broken you can still walk over it and be in thin air)
