Caves: mount through them
Caves: mount through them

Nice Find!
While testing for myself i found a location in Loch Modan where this is usable. A cave located on the eastern side CD's 79,52.
I applaud you for finding this on your own, my friend. The fact that the land is hollow, and that you can get through where two textures intersect, is the basic concept that drives a lot of good exploration.
I've got to say though, if you really are a "long time lurker", I'm sure you've noticed that most of the explorers here use this method. The entire 'mount through walls' sticky-thread is based upon it. Most of the 'passenger mount eject' videos posted here use this concept as well. I would dare say that this concept is pretty much common knowledge in the exploring community.
Keep up the good exploration though. Use this concept... get into a funky spot that none of us have seen before... and report back! We look forward to the screenshots / videos!
Pretty harsh wording, could've just said repost. Doesn't make it any less of a good idea and still not exactly common knowledge. Most exploring ideas stem from the concept of mounting through things as is.

thats not harsh. he kindly explained that if you were really a "long time lurker" you would have known that using large mounts where 2 textures intersect is a well known method.
frankly i'd have thought the one word "repost" answer would have been more cruel.
I explained that I had hoped it wasn't a repost, that would've been fine. Seeing as it is though the thread is pointless, now the comments just look funny![]()
Moms... I took great pains to explain myself politely, as to NOT be cruel... applauding you, encouraging you...
Perhaps I was too wordy... it is my way, I suppose. Good luck on your adventures.
*edit: Just got your very passionate PM... It seems you and I have a communication barrier. You made it seem with your post that you were a brand new explorer and had just discovered a basic concept, but on your own.
As TheVoyager mentioned, I thought the one word "rePoSt!!11" would have been cruel. I was trying to be friendly, yet constructive.
*shrugs*
