Hello MMOWNED Community!

I was playing around in Netherstorm, when I used my X-52 Rocket Helmet (it basically launches you up) so as most of you are aware of, by using this you can get "above" the invisible wall that you reach when you fly straight up.

However, if you've got the Broom from the recent Halloween event you'll be able to mount instantly in the air!

This means that you will be able to go even HIGHER With this I was able to fly to the "edge" of the world. You'll notice that it's some kind of blue wall, and it only appears once you've got close enough to it. I haven't been able to figgure out how to fly through it "yet"

There also appeared a "Core game data is being downloaded" message.

Id understand it and it worked, but i cant reach an end. after flying 30min up with 310% i was bored, mounted down and falled 20min till death.

There is no end when flying up, only when you fly horizontal.

Your explanation of "how" to do this is lacking. Please elaborate.

1. Wear X-52 Rocket Helmet
2. Mount and fly up untill you reach the invisible ceiling
3. Dismount
4. Use X-52 Rocket Helmet
5. When you start falling, mount up with Flying Broom

He explained it perfectly, just read.


You used to be able to fly from Outlands to BE and Draenai starting areas, before the walls at the ends of the map didin't let you go through.

After you've mounted up, you will notice that at one point you won't be able to get higher. There's another invisible wall which you can't get over. The helmet does indeed not work here, I tried it
The interesting part is the "Core Game Data being downloaded" really o.0 Trying to download data.. that doesn't exist?! ;p

Edit: You'll notice that you can't get any higher when your character starts to "bump" into the air. You'll see :P

I used this to go and check out uninstanced BT. Interesting finds. Then I decided to go see if the blue walls formed a cube, by heading towards the lower-right corner. However, as I got near it I zoned into the Veiled Sea (In name only. I was still above the Twisting Nether and against the blue wall), got dismounted and fell to my death. I was brought back at the Sentinel Hill graveyard. I plan to investigate this further!

Maybe with another exploit you can, but in Outlands you simply get killed when you fly too farm away from the continent and in Northrend you get fatigue.
