Emerald dream to be released soon (?)

I was going to have a look on ED on my private server today. I did'nt have my GM tag on cause I was just out of MC so I wrote ".tele emerald forest trees" but it said "You need to be atleast lvl 65 and in a raid group to enter this instance"! Those this mean what i think it does?! Maybe it's just a couple of patches away!

the emerald dream needs a lot of work.

But yes, it is flagged as a raid instance. My guess? They're working on it internally (like Kara), ready to replace the current placeholder that is years old.

Perhaps not in a upcoming patch but it will for sure be added in any upcoming expansions.

I was there last not on the PTR but it was far from finished. I have screenshots I will upload later. But when you enter the zone, you get a warning stating the raid instance is set to reset in X amount of time. The place was massive. More like a continent then an instance, in size. I doubt it will be the actual size of the real thing but I dunno.

In the Database you can change that, it has nothing to do with Bilzzard Files.

Emerald dream is geographically the same as Azeroth, with no sentient life (ie the playable races.) So it developed completely differently. It *will* be the size of all 3 main continents or Lore freaks like me will rally. There's no way it will be a raid instance. It could be many seperate ones, which would be working with the multiple portals, if they really wanted to.. But most likely it will be an expansion. They've just been toying with ED long before they even thought about Expansion packs. They were thinking entirely differently at the time.
