[Discovery] Old Darnassus Maybe?

Okay, sooo i was just randomly exploring in Azshara Crater looking for a nice little PvP Zone for this repack im making when i stumble into an invisible barrier!?! I just keep trying to get threw the barrier and all of a sudden im threw to what looks like it could be an old Darnassus, just like Old IF...

I don't think anyone has ever seen this place or discovered it, atleast I haven't seen posts of it.

Could it be? Really, an old Darnassus?!?!

Why should this be an old Darnassus? And sry to say that, but I think nearly everyone who knows the Azhara Krater knows this one too.
I think, they planned that this is a neutral base, which horde or allianca can controll to get extra points. Not an old Darnassus :-/

But gz to find it out by yourself...

I wasnt saying it was an Old Darnassus, was just sayin it could have been. And I just posted it cuz i never seen this post anywhere lol :]

And it could be, but why would they make it so big? And make it look exactly like Darnassus, im sure they would have changed the design up a bit. But it could of been what you said, or could have been where wow first started developing darnassus but then stopped.

That's the purple castle thingy in Azshara Crater.

Darnassus is a city. There's a big building in darnassus where you can learn teleport and portal spells. In Azshara Crater there just happens to be a building which looks just like that. (same model or something)

This Model is also in azshara, temple of nagas...
and why it is so big? they never tested this battleground on live servers. you, and they, cant know if this size brings problems, when its coming out on live servers.
and i think you know how blizzard builds his world. they are realy foul.

Yes this has always been there, if you want to see the exact wmo, theres one in Azshara (where all the naga are by the beach)

And there's also one in Ferales, south-west where all the ogres are.

The temple was likely just thrown there to cover what originally was going to be there. During the Alpha for vanilla WoW there was a Dark Portal there (a Dark Portal was a placeholder for instances) so there was probably going to be a instance lonnnng ago in the area.
