    [Maps] Cataclysm

So I did some research for Cataclysm Maps and found some while surfing.

These maps are only assumed 3rd expansion maps, some of them are official, some maybe not. I'm trying to say, don't take it too serious.

These are just to get some discussion started.

Basic map with some text adds.

    Interesting map?

The read area from above map. Its from Warcraft I think.

Closer look on undermine (official image from Blizzcon)

    Then some other map

This is part of the list of all planned expansions and zones leaked from Blizzard in 2003. (look at the maps while reading):

    Maelstrom Set

    Gilneas - 77 to 80
    Grim Batol - 78 to 81
    Kul Tiras - 79 to 82
    Kezan - 81 to 86
    Tel Abim - 83 to 85
    Zandalar - 84 to 87
    Plunder Isle - 86 to 88
    The Broken Isles - 87 to 90
    The Maelstrom - 89 to 90

You clearly just copy pasted the majority of the maps from wowwiki.. and the first map is just the default in game map :P

I was literally re reading up on the maelstorm yesterd and viewed these maps ^^ thx for the post but tbh i think if any1 is truely interested in this they probs wouldve checked wowwiki out already.

I was checkin up to reread somthing i remember reading about how i forget now Thrall or somin crashed a ship on one of the isles and mentioned some races fighting...

damn i forget now and couldnt find where i read it now

    any1 remember ?

EDIT: oh ooo btw quick hypothesis .. Gilneas startin zone and lowest lvl area in Maelstorm... looking at its general location and the history behind Gilneas as a port city my guess is u venture to the city b4 advancing on by boat /blimp :P to the islands .

Well the way to Gilneas is now locked in-game, it will be fun to see that gate finally open.

That gate i mean, its the Graymane Wall in silverpine forest.

That gate has existed since the alpha. Sorta like Grim Batol, and Uldum. There's a bunch of these places that are locked off, with lore to backup the reason for them to be in-game, but nothing else. Gilneas is a bit different from Grim Batol, as an entire zone exists, and has existed behind the gate for years. Grim Batol has a section of land reserved, but there's nothing behind the door - at least the Greymane Wall has a large area behind it to support the possibility of new content.

I believe the same question was brought up in one of the developer panels at BlizzCon, unfortunately the answer to this is the same as it’s been in the past. Grim Batol is one of a number of areas we would like to bring into World of Warcraft at some point in the future, but we have to wait until it feels right to do so.

But there is a sanctuary in Kezan, known as the Undermine, which is what I thought the new sanctuary would be

You guys are bunch of noobs!

    I mean, seriously....
Gilneas will be a 2nd phased starting area for Worgen
Lost Isle will be next starting area for Goblins

    World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
    NOT MAELSTROM!It's way too random!
And Hyjal will be level area for level 78 - 82!
Deepholme will be the unknown Deathwings home palce just right above Stormwind city in Elwynn Forest
Grim Batol will be a dungeon
The Abyssal Maw will be a dungeon
    Uldum will be a zone
And level cap will be raised to level 85

Undermine gets destroyed during the events of the Cataclysm, its why the goblins have to flee for their lives and get stuck on the islands from the playable area at blizzcon (which also gets destroyed)
