[GUIDE] Alliance gunship as Horde in Isle of Conquest! Engineering needed.

I found nothing similar in my searches so this shouldnt be a repost.


Ever since Isle of Conquest released I have done this. In my opinion, the idea of boarding an enemy gunship to kill their crew and destroy their cannons is the most badass thing you could ever do.

Once up there you can do whatever.. jump down on top of your own base, on top of the hangar, kill their cannons, mind control alliance off their own ship.. you get the idea.

Hilarity ensued once the Alliance started to teleport onto the ship, I had killed all their cannons.



Works on 3.2.2 retail, engineering (rocket boots+slow fall) required. As far as I know the Alliance can not board the Horde gunship. Tough luck.

Ive never seen a building like that before I think, looks like a huge dome.

Isle of Conquest is in a strange instance of Icecrown/Sholazar Basin, so it's just some random temple, you will though get No Man's Land if you go there and get ported out,

It was the first thing I thought of when the BG came out! I spent hours trying to catapult up there before I tried Rocket Boots.

3.2.2 live servers.

This is what you are seeing. As a paladin or (more challenging) a mage you can explore the entire 'No Man's Land' surrounding Isle of Conquest. It's a partial version of Sholazar Basin, and Icecrown with a raised water level.
If you go further North you can enter Sholazar Basin. There are all of the usual sights, and right around the point of "The Avalanche" is the Eastern edge of the map, where everything sharply cuts off to an abysmal hole.
Even further North you can see Onslaught Harbor of Icecrown.

It's a fun place to explore if you can get a decently long game of IoC and happen to have some water walking pots.

Are you sure its that building? The round part is just above ground level, is there a drop down on the other side of the building? Where the entrance would be.
