Welcome!

I've created this thread as a way to explore IF to the very last spot. In this thread people can post places of they've found/gotten to inside IF, or from the outside.

There are plenty of unfinished mountains and areas around IF that are perfect for exploring!

For posting:
-Please describe briefly where you found this new place
-Provide screenshots
-If your screenshots are too large, either create thumbnails or simply put them as a link
-If you can get a picture of where you are on the map
-If you feel the need to, create a guide how to get there!

I know how to get in there as a gnome, so I suppose anyone can with pigmy oil, however I'm afraid to go inside lol.

I can post a guide if you want though... I'll do that later today...

I would have to agree with merfed, and even though I don't play wow anymore it's still great to see people like you using the exploration section for what it was made for.

As per request by richhy, here is a guide into Old IF:

Start in IF (obviously), and head to the Ironforge bank, go behind the bankers to the vault and follow the guide from here.

First off you have to be a gnome, but pigmy oil will do just fine, and second you either need to be a mage (with blink) or have your Hearth on CD to use the auto-unstuck.

Basically follow the red arrows

4.) In this step you will have to blink or auto-unstuck(with your hearth on CD) where the arrow points to go through the ceiling!


5.)


6.) Jump in the direction that I am aiming, anywhere else will increase the risk of missing, you just hardly make it in at this angle. There is no need for slowfall, it is relatively close.
