Whos who of Hillsbrad past and present

I was walking about in Old Hillsbrad Foothills getting some rumsey rum for my twink, when i noticed a few names talking around a table behind me.

I wasn't paying much attention at first but then i realised i was watching the unfolding of part of the Ashbringer storyline, it involved alot of names i remembered seeing throughout the game including:
Fairbanks

AKA High Inquisitor Fairbanks
Now an undead boss in Scarlet monastary, however when Mograine was killed by his son, Fairbanks saw this and was hence locked up behind the cathedral in Scarlet Monastary. In the scripted event that happens when one enters Scarlet Monastary with the Ashbringer equiped Fairbanks is ressurected as a human.

Commander Mograine

AKA Commander Mograine: In the future he became one of the four horsemen in the encounter in the old 40 man Naxxramas, he has since been replaced with Baron Rivendare because Ashbringer was given to Tirion Fordring in the quest The Light of Dawn, one of the last quests in the Death Knight starting area.

Arcanist Doan

AKA Arcanist Doan
Arcanist Doan is now a boss in Scarlet Library.

Tirion Fordring

AKA Tirion Fordring
A quest giver in Eastern Plaguelands.

AKA Lord Tirion Fordring
At this point Tirion is a member of The Order of the Silver Hand, as with the previous Tirion, he is also a quest-giver.

AKA Highlord Tirion Fordring
Highlord Tirion Fordring
A character in two questlines, firstly is the Battle for crusader's Pinnacle quest line: The Battle For Crusaders' Pinnacle
And also the Death knight starting area questline: The Light of Dawn

Isillien

AKA Grand Inquisitor Isillien
A high ranking member of the Scarlet Crusade. He is only visible whilst on the quest In Dreams In Dreams, provided by Tirion Fordring.

Abbendis

AKA High General Abbendis
High General Abbendis
For Death Knights, the general is first seen at the beach in the starting area with many other scarlet people with her, for everyone else, she is first seen when you are ordered to kill her for a quest in Dragonblight.



I then went upstairs and found more familiar names;

Stalvan Mistmantle

AKA Stalvan Mistmantle
The main role in the murder mystery chain in Duskwood The Legend of Stalvan

Taelan

AKA Highlord Taelan Fordring
Provides another segment of the quest In Dreams, can be found in Western Plaguelands, whilst doing the quest Taelan will die fighting Grand Inquisitor Isillen however, Tirion, his father, will arive to ensure completion.





Phin Odelic <The Kirin Tor>

AKA Phin Odelic
Still in Southshore after all these years, a quest giver who changed alligiences from The Kirin Tor, to Stormwind.

Captain Edward Hanes

AKA Captain Edward Hanes
A quest giver on Bloodmyst Isle, he is a ghost.

Captain Sanders
No further refference of Captain Sanders being alive is in game, instead there is a ship wreck where all of his belongings are found and there is a quest in Westfall due to these. I think we can safely say that Captain Sanders perished with his ship.

Herod the Bully

AKA Herod
A boss in Scarlet Monastary, his attitude has not changed much, except that he now has the light and a big axe to bully people with rather than his fists.



Hal McAllister

AKA Hal McAlister <Fish Merchant>
It seems that he has not changed much, from fishing in Southshore, to selling fish in Southshore.

Nat Pagle

AKA Nat Pagle
A key fishing trainer for anyone wanting to progress in their fishing skill, much like his friend Al, he is still involved in fish, however he has moved to Duskwallow Marsh to fish in solitude.



Magistrate Henry Maleb

AKA Magistrate Henry Maleb
Still holding the fort as it were in Southshore. Now a quest giver and the target of many raids on Southshore.

Raleigh the True

AKA Raleigh the Devout
Still residing in Southshore, fighting against the Scarlet Crusade by being a quest giver of the quest In the Name of the Light.

Bilger the Straight-laced

AKA Brewmeister Bilger
Still in Southshore, however it looks as if the years of drinking have had a toll on him as he hangs out in a cellar, he sells no beer, contrary to the names, but he does give one quest.

Nathanos Marris

AKA Nathanos Blightcaller
Now works for Lady Sylvanas with his own house in Eastern Plaguelands protected by his pets, a horde quest giver, and the objective of an alliance quest.



Zixil <Aspiring Merchant>

AKA Zixil <Merchant Supreme>
Walks around Hillsbrad Foothills selling his wares with his trusty robot friend.



Kel'Thuzad

AKA Kel'Thuzad
Became an evil servant of the Lich King, controls Naxxramas, his lore has changed alot from start to finish, but it is said that he was wandering deserted land when he came across this citadel, somewhere to retreat from the cold. But he was tempted by the Lich King and made a slave.

Helcular
Helcular died, he is ressurectable in the quest 'Helcular's Revenge'




Renault Mograine

AKA Scarlet Commander Mograine
Son of the Ashbringer, boss in Scarlet Monastary, he locked Fairbanks up and is part of the scripted event in Scarlet Cathedral.

Sally Whitemane

AKA High Inquisitor Whitemane
A boss in Scarlet Cathedral, she and Mograine seem to have been lifelong friends, from fooling about together as young children, to backing each-other up in combat situations.

Little Jimmy Vishas

AKA Interrogator Vishas
A boss in Scarlet Graveyard, part of a family with his sister and father who live in the alterac mountains and are targets for a quest.
