This is a compilation topic for vehicle owners.
What you can do with the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth,
you may also do with any other vehicle mount in the game.
Now just some key-points on the difference from a regular mount and the vehicle mounts.
Good things about a vehicle mount:
Bad things about a vehicle mount:
- No fall damage.
- No daze-dismount when you aggro a mob or two and they hit you.
- Party auras can also boost speed of mount, but not Crusader aura. Aspect of the Pack is one, Unholy Aura too if improved with talents.
- Mount has a health bar, thus you can save some health by having players attack the mount before you in PvP.
- Stuns will let you run around (as long the stun is applied on you and not the vehicle ofc.)
The video includes:
- If the mount is stunned/incapacitated, you may not dismount. If the vehicle is feared/stunned/sheeped/trapped you may not get off and you can be killed really easy.
- Very small hit-box, thus you easily start to swim and dismount (annoying).
- Dalaran Arena down the Sewers, the uninstanced version. You need Heartstone to get out of here, or BG signup with a friends help.
- Old Ironforge, at the fear/sheep location.
- Strand of the Ancients, getting out from the invisible walls (you would want to get water-walk elixirs for it)
- AQ40, getting behind 1st boss -you can farm trash there too.
- AQ40, getting to C'thun.
The video is roughly 4 minutes long and is on 65MB. In it I included some tips on
what you can use your vehicle mount for, just a few examples of what I could think of right now.
No clips involve dying or ankhing, only water-walk on the SotA one. About soling mobs in AQ it is up to your class,
I know Elemental Shaman can easily manage packs except the AoE spawn bug packs, packs in the bug trio room and
the 4 giant Anubisath packs. Anything between 1st boss and 2nd boss should be soloable -at least something!

Message to moderator (if any reads the topic); the URLs bug when I link them directly. Thus meanwhile the bug is not fixed I will use a mirror-url as you may have noticed. Try to make links out of them yourself in a post. If it's fixed feel free to edit the bottom part for me, just don't ruin the layout of my post. I will change it myself if you can't -just drop me a PM or post here. If it's okay to use mirrors like that then it's fine by me.Code:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J297fydKPhI&fmt=18 http://files.filefront.com/Mammoth+Moviewmv/;13326617;/fileinfo.html
