[Exploration] How to discover Maker's Overlook

If you are shooting for an early Explorer title, The Maker's Overlook in Sholazar Basin and The Temple of Storms in Storm Peaks should be the last places on your list. (These being undiscoverable by normal means.)

Using either the ghost mount death exploit or the portal in Dalaran to go to Lake Wintergrasp and go here:

Can't I just press "\" get on my drake and fly above them?

I've had my northrend explorer achievment and tabard for doing it from level 77 as soon as I got cold weather flying..

Or am I missing something here ?
