This spell gives 75% increased swim speed and underwater breathing, and is available from a low level quest giver in Bloodmyst Isle named Captain Edward Hanes.

Creature: Captain Edward Hanes - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

The buff lasts 20 minutes and seems to last through multiple zones, probably all of them.

You must first do the quests lines at Odesyus' Landing in Southern Azuremyst first.

I do not believe horde can get it.

Now go exploring the oceans!

It's a very good idea, but fatigue will eat you nom nom nom!
But, if you explore the underwater of the lakes,etc. and not the big sea it will works!

Yes eventually if you can't heal through it, but with this you can get farther and deeper than you could normally. Which is the reason I mentioned it.

Also, this may or may not stack with Azure Silk Belt, which is +15% speed. (+90 total?)

well, on my shaman i´m runing with water walking with a friend pally using crusader aura, we manage to get in to deep south of tanaris, after some point running on a white line ( like a sand path on the water) we start swim again with fatigue, when fatigue almost kill us, we get another white sand line ( that was amazing 8 second´s left before fatigue kill us) .

I use far sight and saw a small island with a small house and a red bird flying, nothing big, start to go even deep in south, we find like more 4 island´s, one of those island´s has a goblin, we kill him ( evil).

All island´s we find has a small strutucture like house or something.

today i will go there again and take some pics.

Level 1 spirit chars will drown at great depths without a warlock to buff them.

when you could exploit the taxi mounts to let you travel on them/control them (i don't know if you can any more, i quit awhile ago) it let you go underwater without fatigue/breath meters. i swam as far to the bottom as i could and it disconnected me.

just buff up and mount and go go go!

also the warlocks spell "Unending Breath" has a glyph for it that increases Swim speed by 20% (the warlock spell allows you to breath underwater)
