    Enter Quel' Thalas

Dath' Remar, Lord of the noble Highborn...
He leaded his people to a strange place behind the deep grows of Lordaeron, a city of hope: Quel' Thalas where the noble High Elves joined a new source of power called "The Well Of Eternity".
Years Later... the scourge approached the beaches of Tirisfal Glades and killed all the highborn there... Only a few know where's the devasted city today. If u want to know and get there, also be ready for incoming expansion next to WotLK where is supposed to be the major gates of the Maelstrom: Quel' Thalas

Anyone can get there, the only thing you need is to run like Usain Bolt until you see a big tree.

1.- Follow the path to the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades.
2.- When you get there, take the left way and get to the coast. (try to jump with your mount o/ in low rocks just to avoid dmg hp)
3.- When you get to the coast follow the mountains straight (try to stay close to the little hills coz if u get deep in the sea you will fatigue quickly)
4.- You will run like 3-4 minutes aprox. (also if you see the map you'll see your char in the middle of a strange unnamed land)
5.- When you see a huge tree in the sky that means you reached Quel. =D There's not many things to do here, no npc, mobz, etc, just a super tower (Some people think it's the Rise of the Naga expansion gate) i personally like this place a lot, when i get there with my guildies we always mke some strange stuff: campfires, etc its just a funny place today, but.....
....What is it going to be tomorrow in WotLK or RotN???

    Hope you enjoyed

I'm sorry, but I don't think Blizz is working on another XPac right now... Kinda busy with WotLK?

    Uhm false information...

    1. The Ivory Tower thing is old.
    2. You suck at Warcraft lore.
    3. Quel'thalas is the name of Zul'Aman, Eversong, Ghostlands and Isle of Quel'danas together. Its the kingdom of the Blood Elves and has nothing to do with the Highbourne anymore or Naga.
    4. Rise of the Naga sounds stupid. No one has ever said something about that....
    5. Tirisfal Glades is not even close to Quel'thalas.
    6. Quel'thalas was supposed to be a zone pre-tbc - so the name still exists (kind of like Emerald Dream and Hyjal etc).

This is the history of when the Highbourne sailed across the sea to Lordaeon.

First they settled in the western part of Tirisfal (aka Tirisifal Grove or something like that). But an Old God was lying beneath the ground and turned them mad.
So the Highbourne were forced to move - they moved to the place that today is Quel'thalas (meaning "The High Kingdom").

They renamed themself High Elves and created a new smaller version of the Well of Eternity - the Sunwell. But the Amani Trolls are ready lived in Quel'thalas, way before the Helfs came.
Anyway, with the aid of the humans (whom they learned to use magic) they managed to defeat the Trolls and send them back to there kingdom of Zul'aman (which is a great zone, you see little of it in the raid).

In addition the High Elves created Runestones to protect them from enemies however one beutiful day Arthas and the Scourge/Undead came and the betrayer Darkhan'thir (yes, I cant spell it right now, its morning in my country) managed to let them pass through the Runestones protective barrier.

Arthas corrupted the Sunwell when he was attempting to ressurect the Necrolord Kel'thuzad (who became a Lich) and soon - Quel'thalas was in ruin and there beloved ranger general, Sylvanas Windrunner, had been killed and raised as a Banshee.
Sylvanas heard the whispers of the Lich King but soon, after a series of events in the Frozen Throne expansion of Warcraft 3, she regained her free will and created the Forsaken who hated the Scourge more then anything...

Everything has been said already, so I'll go for this lore...If there was a naga one, it would be the Maelstrom ex-pack, and would probably be called something like "Fury of the MaelStrom) And feature neptulon or Queen Azshara on the cover.

I agreed that the South Seas are likely the next expansion (with Undermine as a capital, and Kezan as a starting zone for Goblins - the first neutral race) however the poster was like "The next expansion WILL BE the Maelstrom, and WILL BE called Rise of the Naga (which sounds totally stupid, as does the "Fury of the Maelstrom", the Maelstrom is not a living creature - its a storm and big whirlpool) which is not confirmed in any way.

I would also say that the Emerald Dream is just as likely as the South Seas considering I think myself that the expansion list is like this:

    1. Outland = Another World/Plane
    2. Northrend = Azeroth
    3. ED = Another World/Plane
    4. South Seas = Azeroth
    5. Plane
    6. Azeroth
    7. Plane etc

Ok now the font is white, sorry for the inconvenience, for Xerox 95: This is my first real post and im talking about "how to get ruins of Quel' Thalas" behind Scarlet Monastery. I know in the lore its supposed to be all the zones of Ghostlands & Zul' Aman the town of the High Elves where they murdered the Amani trolls, but actually im talking about how to get to th ruins in tirisfal glades not how to get Ghostlands....

Also the Xpx "Rise of the Naga" its a supposition that i heard, its not confirmed as u said but it one thing i read the lore u'll see the maelstrom is covering the lost city of the nagas and it'll rise again, thats all.

    Cya!!
