Irvine & Malory / mt. Everest Reference!

First of all I'd like to thank videodima's post for giving me this idea

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-ex...addiction.html

Videodima is saying that the top of ironforge is mimicing Mount Everest.

But I think that the stuff you see there is actually a reference to the men who could have been the first to have climbed the Mount Everest. (It's still not sure if they succeeded or not)

I remembered reading that both George Mallory and Andrew Irvine died whilst climbing the Mount Everest but only the body of George Mallory was found and only Andrew Irvine's ice-axe. Also to this day it is still not sure if they ever did succeed.

Now if we look at this picture, we can see a single skeleton (George Mallory) and a Shovel of some kind (possible the ice-axe and thus a reference to Andrew Irvine). Also we musn't forget the location, this scenary can be found on the highest (snow covered ) mountain located in Dun Morogh, and as the Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world.
I think that this is a reference to those two men, but you guys be the judge

    P.S.
I couldn't find this so I hope I'm not reposting, also maybe this is a bit far fetch'd and only some scenary placed by blizzard to humor us. But you gotta say that it could be a reference to them

    Further info trough wikipedia:
Andrew Irvine (mountaineer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

I realise this and if you read correctly i say: "highest snow covered mountain", and to my current knowledge mount hyjal is covered in forest.
