2.4 walljump discovery ..again thanks mod

Thanks to the mod for deleting my thread about the new walljump exploit because I didn't use image tags I used thumbnails, your a real asset to this site.



Anyhow here it is again the short version, Im reposting for anyone who likes to explore and wants to keep and eye out for new spots that will work for 2.4 and keep walljumping somewhat alive.

This is for vertical wall jumping ( even works on inward slanted walls)

Find the center of a wow texture that is mirror'd ( same on both side) , stand in the center ..thats it.

This has been confirmed in several spots in old deleted thread.

It seems to be working somewhat, I've tried several spots and I can only get 1-2 jumps before hitting and falling :yuck: .

Ya sorry my deleted post explained this better, to go into detail....

You must find a texture that blizzard has just copy/pasted right next to each other. Like in the photo above both sides are exactly the same texture and the line is the center where they meet up. You must wall jump in the center even a few inches either way won't work.

The hard part is that bliz actually does a good job at not mirroring textures to add realism to the game, they usually alter them in some small way or move they further apart.

The challenge is to find places where there are mirror'd texture matches, most archways have them and in previous post some people posted some others...hopefully people can find some more.

Wow +rep, gotta test this out. By the way, walljumping is not yet removed from all WoW textures, there are still some mountains where you can walljump perfectly without falling off. I might make a thread about this if I got some time
