I tested this on Retail, as well as Vanilla, TBC, WoTLK, and MoP Expansions and I personally had no problems. If I posted this in the wrong section my bad but I felt it worth mentioning. I am also pretty sure something like this has been mentioned before?

It has come to my attention that using something like /asl - works better for some reason. Try em both out!

So my opinion is that if you have an older GPU ( mines a GTX 560m ) -or- Enough addons, to cause you lag in game I think is what makes this method work.
I havent tried on a newer computer but if it Does work let me know!

This is great in PVP. If im about to get my ass handed to me, i just use this bad-boy, lag 50ft, pop back and mount. It works in PVE as well, so could be some use for it.

Anyway, Here is a small video I threw together to demonstrate. I messed up the FPS hah, so don't mind it.

It's always nice to have another alternative for a lag macro such as this. The good thing about this one is that its not disabled in instanced PvP. I know personally that the lag macro I released will only freeze you for about a second in instanced before stopping itself. Nice alternative. Have some rep my friend.

I'm a little confused now. What Ordes seems to demonstrate is server-side lag, like that produced by lag7. Your freeze macro is client-side. Or maybe I'm missing something its 2am here

Advanta - From what ive been able to test is yea im lagging serverside - using this macro i believe its similar to doing something like
/asl
you get a no such command which is what lags you , when you do it 12x per per macro causes lag =D

I always thought having a shit ton of addons made it work easier due to Addon commands and such im unsure.

I personally never got Lag7 to work - like i still have it but maybe ill try it real quick right now - aye just tested , didnt work =(
I love trolling people in raids, lag into a boss and call out "LEEROYYYYY:" kinda funny to watch them squirm

The video shows that it freezes his client, (his client being the one on the right).

The one on the left shows what it looks like on someone else's screen. The lag macro I have freezes your client, which is what this same one does, and to other players it looks as if you move forward which is shown on the left. The difference is, my macro is time based. You're able to set the amount of seconds it lags for, while this one can't. My macro seems to be disabled in instanced PvP, and will lag you only for a second before cancelling itself.

For more precise matters such as disengage chaining, my macro would be superior as you could just set the time where as his you kind of have to guess and it's completely based off of computer specs, so the amount of times to click varies on different computers.

His can be used in instanced PvP since it creates an influx of spam in the chat that the game client can't handle at once so it freezes, and the command simply displays all commands.

Sorry mate I have no real idea how it works for me it just does, you'd need someone with coding skills to troubleshoot for you, maybe on the programming forums here, unless someone helpful reading this can identify the problem.

Btw Seems my state of the art graphics card won't allow this to work even though my computer is getting pretty ancient.

to diagnose your issue is need some info
• What windows u use ?
• could you check acces to the "netsh" in command prompt under ure user priviledges
• are you administrator ?

Did you guys try enabling a ton of addons? mayb turn your Refresh rate to the lowest it can possibly go, and what not./
