[Silver Shafted Arrow] Inf many shots

Well as you may know its valentine in world of warcraft and you can get [Silver Shafted Arrow] usally 5 of them.
Well i have found a way to make them hold inf shot so they wont go away untill the 10 days are up so here it goes.

When you aim at a player then press on it before it loads comeplted press esc and it will give the player the pet and you will have the same ammount of [Silver Shafted Arrow] left

The way I did it last year was make a macro

/use Silver Shafted Arrow
/stopcasting

I think thats it I can't really remeber because it was a year ago :P
But its real fun because you can spam it on people while you are in stealth
