    Multiple wow windows on a mac

    Not sure if this is wellknown or wat but i wasy some1 ask this in another thread

    basically to open multiple wows follwo this

    1. open ur wow foler
    2. right click on the wow launcher, and click show package contents
    3.in the contents folder click the MacOS folder
    4.in the MacOS folder double click the cmd prompt program called "World Of warcraft"
    5. a cmd prompt well come up w8 a sec and it well open another wow window

    anyways i g2g for like 2-3 hrs when im back ill answer any questions

    Gl and ahve fun. and remeber kids drugs are bad mmmk

    cant you open a unlimited number on pc? cuz iv done 2 on a pc and shouldnt it be the same with a mac?

    no on a mac normally u can only open 1 wow when u clock the icon to open another norhing happens (because macs werent ment for gaming blizz incorperated this in)

    Also i just got back from AA hockey game WE WON 4:1 !!!!!!!

    Don't want to downrate your method, but an easier way is to right click on the World of Warcraft program in your World of Warcraft folder and create a copy, each copy of the icon will be a different copy of WoW

    Haha yeah, i Just have one exe named World of Warcraft and another named World of Warcraft 2. Works fine.

    erm, i'm a mac user... and i open mutiple just by making a copy of the wow app file... make 1000 copies of it and start it 1000 times...
    (this should be common knowledge btw)

    If this actually worked it'd be SOOOO much better than having 2 copies of the WoW folder. Having 1 10gb WoW folder is more than enough. :/

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I open up the terminal it opes the WoW launcher thing, then when I click Play it takes me to the WoW window I already have open, instead of a new one.

    you do NOT need to copy the whole wow folder, you just need to copy your wow app (that thing you click on to start the game) like the .exe file in win

    Yea umm.. All you need to do is:

    Select "WoW.app".
    Then right-click on it and select Duplicate.
    Now you can open 1 window for every Duplicate you made.

    Its very simple.

    What's the Purpose of this? Run 2 accounts at once? I have a Mac Intel, easy to do, Just not sure why you would want to.
