Tired of wanting to catch deviate fish and getting others instaed? Be a hunter! It's 2:30 and i was bored fishing. (who isnt?) so i used a flare on the water and fished. Cought a deviate fish. Thought to myself, "hey that was cool". So i did it again. And it worked again! Tryed it 15 more times and worked 14/15 tries. Dunno if its just a fluke or dumb luck but its pretty sweet. If it doesnt work for you mabe its the time? Im at the Stagnant Oasis btw. Sry bout grammar am very excited to get back

Edit: Tried it again and still works, bobber has to be somewat close to the light.
And you have to be in first person...

Tried again after attacking horde and it doesnt want to work anymore. Mabe its cercomstantial, it was working though and mabe youll get lucky like i did.

1st id like to apolagize for tearing the post to shreds, as im trying ot give updates as often as possible. Turns out it still works if you Flare fish fifh Flare fish fish Flare fish fish in that order. Do that and youl get a Deviate every other fish most of the time.

Why dont you just look for the schools of deviate fish. They will spawn in all three lakes in the barrens and sometimes you get 3 or 4 schools in each lake. You will mainly catch deviate fish and sometimes a small locked chest.. I do this and get lots of fish..

You could ahve just been fishing in a school of fish, When you attacked horde, you went back to a non-school spot.

Well , said simply , the stagnant oasis has a chance to give you deviate fish for fishing either way.

It's not flare doing anything , you're simply catching fish in a spot that is supposed to give that kind of fish.

Also: If you want more deviate fish, enter the Wailing Caverns instance. I do this on my priest all the time. Either kill or skip the first several mobs and fish in the little river where Kresh walks around. 90% of my fish from there or better are deviate.
