Getting AFK's to leave a battleground. *not the emote*

I've done this to a few afk'ers in AV along with EotS.

    What you do is:

/w the botter..lets say his name is Timmy.

/w Timmy : Hey Timmy! *press space bar till you lose all what you typed*
    Then type:
GM<whatevernameuwant> says : Hello Timmy, we have had many reports of you not fighting in a battleground. These reports have led us to believe you are using a 3rd party program. Please park your character in a safe place and be prepared to be disconnected.

    ^..soemthing like that.

Ive had so far 6 people leave av after typing a GM msg. to them.

I think that it would work. The only downside is that if they are using any type of add-ons/interface modifications they would be able to see. Therefore, instead of your pranking them, they will prank you by reporting you to a real GM and get you banned.

Impersonating a GM results in a ban, so this could be rather risky.
A foolproof method for sculpting an elephant. First, get a huge block of marble, then you chip away everything that doesn't look like an elephant.

Works with non-botters too hehe. But to decrease chance the victim notices ur thing, better to type it this way:

/run SendChatMessage("hi timmy\r<GM>[Mickey] says : Hello Timmy, we have had many reports of you not fighting in a battleground. These reports have led us to believe you are using a 3rd party program. Please park your character in a safe place and be prepared to be disconnected.","common(or orcish)","whisper","timmy")
[Gnomepower] is the ultimate item for every gnome.

    in my Schabbot-addon there's also an GM-Alert with auto-logout.
But no one who knows a little bit about LUA checks for a "<GM>"-Textstring. That won't work!
The <GM>-Tag is transmitted as a "status".
Like DND or AFK. You can't fake a <GM>-Status if you are a normal user!
If you receive a whisper you can read out a lot of arguments.
    (arg4 => sender, arg1 => status, arg2 => message-string...)

Perhaps this whisper look like a GM-Message, but just for little nuubs...

the reason this may work is.. Some mods have a built in Gm detector, just like glider. That will alert and even disconnect it's self from the server if contacted by a gm. This doesn't work on all mods. But may work on some.

Yes. In my addon theres a GM-detector, too.

    BUT:

No good coder will check for a "GM-String". Every real GM-whisper has an invisible argument where you can read out the "status" of the sender. and a GM has the status "GM".
    That's what i mean. You don't check for a text-string "GM" inside the whisper-message.
to find out if the sender a GM you just check the status. and you aren't able to fake a GM-status...
