Get an enemy player killed in Ratchet.

A while back I decided to roll a new warlock on live, so I was going about my day and discovered a Hordie, flagged, on the Ratchet dock. I figured "why not?" and sent the Voidwalker after him.

To my surprise, the Voidwalker was not attacked by the guards.

The Horde player who was being attacked began to retaliate and was promptly slaughtered by said guards.



No honor kill, but definitely fun to do!


Notes: I did not attempt a second time, the bastard got away. I have not tried this with any other pets. If it doesn't work for you then I apologize for the misinformation, I probably got lucky. If it does work, then happy hunting

Sadly this doesn't work with totems that effect enemy players. Or it didn't when I tried it a long time ago. Trinkets/Items that summon an NPC to your aid might work as well.

As a mage, I set up a portal, pom pyro the guy then click on my portal. I get no damage done to me and the guy doesn't know what hit em.

i dont think that it works.
there was a bug some time ago where a shamans elemental wasn´t attacked by the guards. this was fixed with 2.3 i think

Hunter pets might work too, but like I said, this was a one-time deal. I wanted to try it with different pets and such but that was one fast orc.

If your level 70 then that makes your pet level 70. Which means that it has an aggro range of a level 70.

A 57 has a lower aggro range then a 70 so therefore your pet could of past him with ease. Even you could have.

Aggro/threat levels do not affect neutral guards, I believe.

This was on a totally different character (account too!) from my 70 lock. At the time I believe he was 18-ish, maybe a tad higher.

When I want to get a Hordie killed on my main, I grab the nearest hunter and do that nifty little snake trap trick (for those who don't know: Duel a hunter near a member of the opposite faction, have him lay a snake trap, hop over the snake trap, snakes will attack the nearest member of the opposite faction if there is one within 100 yards [I think?]. This will occur whether or not they are flagged.)
