    [Arena] Hunter pet exploit.

I saw this exploit on the WoW forums.

If your doing arena, and got a shaman in your team, you can name your pet "Grounding". Or you can name your pet to a healer in the arena for example.

People that got a macro to target a grounding totem will now probably target the hunter pet instead Or if they got a macro to target the healer, they will target the hunter pet

    [Arena] Hunter pet exploit.

This is a bannable offense. Many people have been banned for using it. It stuffs up mods like Proximo and Arena Master due to stuffing up /target macros which in itself is fine (Blizzard doesn't care about mods), but the actual /target command itself is an in-game mechanic that this is mucking with which Blizzard deems as unacceptable.

Expect a 3 hour ban and a forced pet name change.

Plenty of hunters I meet daily in Arena (2k+ ratings in all three brackets) name their pets after themselves, just to make arenaframe mods harder to use. Most of them I knew for ages and its always been like that.

Do you actually know any Hunters which got a forced pet name change and a temp suspension? Are you just theorising or you know for sure that GMs put it this way?

Oh and one more thing, there's no real point in the "Grounding" name anymore because of the /targetexact command ('/targetexact Grounding Totem' wont ever target a pet named "Grounding").
