Free 395 Ring ( not an exploit)
I found this "feature" in warcraft.
1. collect 300 7th Legion Service medals
2. Got to provisioner Stoutforge across from the warfronts table in Boralus.
3. Buy Captain's Signet of Command .
4. equipt the ring.
You have up to 2 hours to return the ring to the vender as it does not become soulbound on equipt . Do not use the portal on use function or the ring will become soulbound and non refundable.
This is useable in mythic + or Uldir. anywhere you would like to have a 395 ring for the time alloted.
the ring is a very good crit / haste one and wont be replaced until next raid 's titanforged or heroics .
the Advantage here is if you want to save your medals for the Mounts you still can while having the ring at the same time.
The ring is supposed to bind when equiped but it doesnt Bind.
( not sure if this works for Horde as they have a different Ring)

This isn't a topic that should be here .. this is general game knowledge about basic return features that have been around for years.

The normal feature is that it becomes soulbound and not refundable when equipt. so this not becoming soulbound is not "Basic return Feature" but you guys do you. i'll keep my 395 ring "rented" untill its replaced in new raid and not waste 300 medals on a peice of gear.

Seems like a reasonable idea.

These discussions can never be satisfactorily resolved because Blizzard never gave any clear indications of what an exploit is. I'm inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt personally, but that is just me.

I think there's a fairly simple way to define it.
Did Blizzard intend for players to do this? If not, then it could be considered an exploit.
Blizzard obviously didn't intend for players to do this. Blizzard has also banned for similar "exploits" in the past though. I recall people being banned in MoP, or maybe it was WoD, with PvP gear. Buying more important pieces with Conquest and refunding every 2 hours while they farm more conquest to buy less important pieces first while they get the benefit of the weapons first as well.
