Attack with melee while Casting a spell.

Well i first found out this some months ago, just didnt know how the hell i did it.
Now i've found out that if ya Cast a long taking spell, you can attack with melee while doing it.


While Casting and the mob is near, and ya want to do some DMG on the mob while doing it, Quickly press walk & run button once or twice, then quickly press Melee button. This should bug your character so that it "interrupts" the cast, but still doesnt.
Ya can see that your character goes to normal melee stance but the cast bar still goes on.


Hope this aint posted and that it helps ya ppl out there.

Note. This is usefull with if your cast takes more then 1 - 3 seconds, cant remember what would take thatlong but still

this could be useful in breaking AB caps. I'll try to test it out.

I've done this several times , or seemed to with my warlock.

In my honest oppinion , this is a visual glitch and does not actually make the character swing or attack , it just visually put them in fighting "stance"/"Auto-attack stance".

unless this is what im thinking of.. it would be nice to see a video. the guide was kind of confusing.

if this IS what im thinking of, where you simply add an extra melee hit to the spell you're casting, then i've been doing this forever. it's simply a matter of timing, and distinguishes an experienced PVPer from the rest of the crowd.

May just be me but.... this has been happening for ages.... your guide is confusing as it lacks detail but good.. I suppose. It may just be me and that I have been bugged forever but if you stand close enough to attack in melee and cast and once you have cast right click on enemy target and u start attacking em....

Get in melee range to target.
Right click on them so you start attacking.
Cast your spell.
As soon as you start casting right click the enemy again.

Wallah you are attacking and casting at the same time.

Only works for me? Dunno.

This will help me as i am a paladin and allways in close combat but need to heal sometimes :-)
