possible bug? money with first aid

Don't really know if this is posted before I might not have used the right keywords but post a link if this is a repost.

I just got done with a dungeon run and I had a crapload of netherweave and 375 first aid and i noticed that 1 netherweave cloth sells for 8s but when i turn it in to a bandage it sells for 12s 75c so if you have 2 seconds to spare to make it then you gain 4s 75c. If you make a heavy netherweave bandage with 2 netherweave cloth which normally would sell for 16s to a vendor it would sell for 30s, a 14s increase which is more than 2 normal netherweave bandages (25s 50c). This is useful for making a little bit more cash if you have the time to actually make them.

I think this will work with any kind of bandage not just netherweave. Remember to post a link to the previous post if this is a repost.

I have 48 stacks of netherweave cloth.. and counting ^_^. It DOES seem to fall out of the sky, and I don't really know why I'm saving it... maybe hopeful fantasies of leveling an alt with tailoring o.0

This works for silk and up. Wool and linen don't work like this.

Not a bug. It's intentional. Stands to reason that finished goods have a higher vendor value than raw materials.

If you AH a stack of netherweave, at least on my server, you'd get around 2g 50s. Turn it into 10 heavy netherweave bandages, though, and it vendors for 3g. Plus, there's no wait.

+2rep nice trick, got around 150 netherweave in my bag was gonna sell it on AH, but sells for 2.5g so vendoring it!

i dont think its common knoledge if people say they didn't know about it but like alot of people i never really glanced at that money difference before

This is not the only thing to earn money

In lower levels, 1-10, the FASTEST thing i know to get money is to be miner/jeweler, and each 4 copper bars (40c) you craft into a Braided copper ring (2s 50c), you earn 2s 10c, more than 5 times the raw materials price.
Of course this is useless on higher levels, when you earn more killing a single mob

blizz makes you to lose your playtime on making gold, so you stay longer ingame
